1. What we collect
We collect information you provide directly: email address, physical measurements (weight, height, age), dietary preferences, and meal plan interactions. We also collect usage data such as meals marked as eaten and check-in history.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to generate and personalize your nutrition plan, adapt it over time based on your progress, and process your subscription payments through Lemon Squeezy. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Health data
Avoico collects health-related information including body weight, dietary restrictions, and macronutrient intake. This data is stored securely and used only to provide the service. We are not a medical provider, and our plans are for general wellness purposes only.
4. Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Avoico does not store your card details. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@avoico.app. Deletion is processed within 30 days.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We conduct regular security reviews.
7. Cookies and analytics
Avoico uses localStorage for session management and authentication. With your consent, we use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for error monitoring. These tools may set cookies. You can decline cookie usage via the consent banner shown on first visit, or withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage.
8. Email communications
If you have an active subscription, we may send you weekly summary emails about your plan adherence. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also opt out at any time from Settings.
9. Your rights
